Ahead of Wednesday’s game against Millwall in the Sky Bet Championship, the Sky Blues produced a Day Guide for fans attending the game.

The Sky Bet Championship match kicks off at 7.45 p.m. at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

We strongly urge all fans to arrive as soon as possible, at least an hour before kickoff, due to the additional COVID checks required.

A crowd of over 16,000 is expected for Wednesday’s game.

COVID Pass

Covid Pass messaging_Billboard_970x250.jpgIn accordance with government announcements and the new law, supporters over the age of 18 must present a COVID Pass to attend Wednesday’s game, or proof of a negative lateral flow test.

Without either of these elements, supporters not be able to attend the match and not be allowed to enter the stadium.

Face masks

Supporters will be required to wear face masks in all areas inside the stadium, including the halls, unless they are under the age of 11 or when eating / drinking.

In reception areas, fans can remove masks while seated.

Photos with players

We ask fans to do not ask players / staff for selfies inside or outside the stadium.

Purchase of tickets on match day

Wednesday’s match is a Category C match – adults tickets are £ 20, with discounts £ 15, under 18s at £ 10, JSB U16 at £ 5 and JSB U13 for FREE.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the Coventry Building Society Arena box office, which opens Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. This is cashless – please note that from 4 p.m. only Wednesday tickets will be available (i.e. not outside / half season tickets).

Sky Blues fans can purchase from Cash Turnstiles 30-35 from 6.30pm. There is no price increase on match day. All supporters over 18 paying at the door and required to provide a COVID pass.

Ticket collections and requests

All ticket pick-ups and inquiries for Sky Blues fans can be made at the box office from 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning until kick-off.

Season tickets

For any questions before the match, please visit the ticket office or send an email to [email protected] All match day requests can be made in person at the box office.

Paper replacements can be arranged for the game for any lost or forgotten ticket / subscription, but there is an administration fee for this service.

Club shop

The club shop will be open from 9:30 am until kick-off on Wednesday – it will not be open for an hour after the game as it is a midweek game. It is cashless. All of this season’s kits are in stock and available for purchase, while the new “League One Champions” book is available for purchase.

Face masks must be worn in the club shop and at the ticket office.

Entrance to the stadium and your seat

Turnstiles open at 6.30 p.m., Hospitality open from 5.30 p.m.

Your COVD Pass, or proof of negative lateral flow test, will be checked when approaching the turnstiles by one of our employees. You have to show it for entry.

Due to the increase in the national level of terrorist threat, searches will also be carried out at the entrance.

There will be searches at the entrance through the main entrance to the stadium – again, due to the increased level of national terrorist threat to “serious”. Access to the mill and through the main entrance will be reserved for supporting companies, which will all be subject to excavation.

In all car parks, please follow the instructions of the parking marshals – vehicle traffic is limited 1 hour before kick-off on site, with all roads on site closed at 6:45 p.m.

Train journey

Service to Coventry Arena station remains limited on match days, with train services between Leamington Spa, Nuneaton and Coventry currently being suspended indefinitely by West Midlands Train.

Bars and Kiosks

All bars and kiosks in the Arena are also now cashless – cash payments are not accepted.

The new ‘Anecdote’ bar will also be open to Sky Blues supporters next to the Jimmy Hill statue, with a range of food and drink available.

Due to searches at the main entrance, the mill will only be open to sympathetic businesses. Additional research is in place due to the increased level of national terrorist threat to “serious”.

Sky Blue Tavern and Dhillon’s Brewery Fan Zone

The new Sky Blue Tavern in Coventry city center will be open from 12h Wednesday

Coventry’s newest sports bar, Sky Blue Tavern, is located at Hertford Place, near Coventry Ring Road, Exit 7, in the old Dragon Phoenix / Feast Junction building. The tavern has a Sky Blues theme, with historical images and memorabilia throughout the two-story building, and is the place to go for Sky Blues supporters. A shuttle is available to book from the tavern to the Dhillon Brasserie, near the arena – with a drink or food option included.

Meanwhile, the Dhillon Brewery Fan Zone will also be open on Wednesday at unit 14A Hales Industrial Estate, Rowley’s Green Lane (CB6 6AT) – a short walk from the Coventry Building Society Arena – from 4 p.m..

It has been completely renovated and now includes a 20ft TV screen, a new indoor bar and a covered patio that can accommodate hundreds of Sky Blues fans. DJ Big Smithy, popular from our timeshare at St Andrew’s, is also here to help create a fantastic pre-game atmosphere, while there are plenty of dining options available as well!

Program

The PUSB Match Day program will be available on the pitch for £ 3. The program vendors are located around the field.

The away supporters are located in the south stand. The food and drink kiosks in the South Grandstand are cashless.

Defibrillators

We’re highlighting defibrillator locations in the Stadium Bowl area for fans. A defibrillator is a device that gives a high-energy electric shock to the heart of a person in cardiac arrest. This high-energy shock is called defibrillation, and it’s an essential part of trying to save the life of someone in cardiac arrest.

These are clearly only used in emergencies, but can prove to be vital for fans experiencing cardiac arrest.
