Best Foreign Country Search for Miami Homes for Third Consecutive Month; Texas is the best state

Colombia posted the highest number of global web searches for Miami homes in May 2022, according to a new report from the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI). Colombia has now topped the list of foreign countries looking for Miami real estate for three straight months, as South Florida continues to see growing global demand from buyers with relaxing pandemic-related protocols and unstable political situations developing in the world.

Colombia accounted for 12.34% of all international searches on in May 2022, an increase from the country’s search total of 11.76% in April 2022. Shoppers from over 160 countries search each month.

Colombia purchased the second most South Florida real estate among foreign countries in 2021, according to the 2021 International Home Buyers Profile of MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) Members.
