The Downtown Driggs Association is hosting the 11th Annual Driggs Plein Air Festival July 24-July 30, 2022. Seventy (70) professional and emerging artists from across the country set up their easels outside to paint the landscape of Driggs and Teton Valley. Hundreds of paintings of local scenes go on sale at Driggs Plaza and the Teton Arts Gallery throughout the week.
The public is invited to the opening reception, gallery sales, tent sales, paintings, contests and quick print sales, demonstrations by professional artists and the awards ceremony. The week kicks off Sunday, July 24 with a free Downtown Sounds outdoor concert at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Exhibit Opening Reception at 6:30 p.m. in Driggs Plaza at 60 South Main.
Prize giving and reception on Friday July 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The paintings will also be available after the event in person at the gallery and online from August 3 to September 9, 2022 at www.driggspleinair.org. Framed paintings will ship within two weeks of purchase.
